  Wanted to comment on the Ventura Winter Wine Walk. There were mixed reports from those that loved the event to others that felt the lines were too long, plus there were few too many food options. While this maybe true, let us be reminded that this was the 1st Annual event. There will be many more to come in the future and the organizers will tweak the program along the way. From a PR perspective, more restaurants need to be involved. There were many on Main Street that did not participate - for a variety of reasons. But look at it from a positive note, I really enjoyed how the retail stores opened their doors for the wineries to serve terrific tastings for everyone. Although most did not offer food options, because of health regulations, it gave us an opportunity to browse and shop their stores - and we did. Thank you to everyone at VWWW for a terrific 1st Annual. Can't wait for next year!
