The people behind Four Brix Wines came together originally under charitable beginnings. Four of the six founders belong to Rotary International in Simi Valley California. The other two founders are HORs, otherwise known as Husbands of Rotarians. After making tons of home and hobby wines with other families we decided we wanted to share the wine making experience with others. Today Four Brix Winery is all about coming together to enjoy great wines, good friends and family (like them or not- they are still family).

The Simonsgaards lend their great palates to wine tasting and direction of the wine. With a keen sense of taste and a passion to making great-tasting wines they are a vital asset to Four Brix. They love to travel, play bocce and ASU.

The Stewarts bring the knowledge of wine making and personal contacts with vineyards and other wine makers. They are always working for local charities and ready to help anyone in need. They love their two boys and traveling.

The Noonans are the new kids in the cellar, bringing creativity and alternative methods to design and tastes. Watch out for these two at the dinner parties, they will be ready for anything. They spend free time with their two daughters and enjoy the outdoors.

All three families have been friends since 2004. We work and vacation together and donate many hours to local and world-wide charities. But, we also love to just sit back and talk about great wines, good food and places we have visited.One of 12 premium wineries along the Ventura County Wine Trail, Four Brix Winery in Ventura is just 50 minutes from Los Angeles and an ideal spot for locals to discover wines inspired by world-famous cuvees, or blends, from the Rhone Valley, Tuscany, Bordeaux and other renowned regions. The winery is co-owned and operated by three couples the Stewarts, the Simonsgaards, and the Noonans, who were prompted by their mutual love of food, wine, and people to found Four Brix Winery with the goal of sharing their passion with others. The Four Brix Winery tasting room is located in the heart of Ventura.
